RUNNING THE PROGRAM
FULL SYNTAX
RONSHEAD [d:][\path\]<masterfile>
MASTER DISPLAY FILE
RonsHEAD is to be executed just before the Maildoor Tomcat! loads.
It first collects information from DOOR.SYS, TOMCAT.CFG,
MAKEWILD.DAT, CONFDESC.DAT and ALLUSERS.DAT. It then opens the
masterfile as indicated on the command-line and copies it to the
file TOMCAT.BBS in the Display directory of the callers current
conference. While copying it searches for 14 special @ variables
and replaces them with the correct values as collected from the
files mentioned.
The following variables are searched for and replaced;
@TCDATE@ ..... Last date Tomcat! is used (follows date-format
from MakeWild, 10 characters).
@TCTIME@ ..... Last time Tomcat is used (format HH:MM, fixed
lenght of 5 characters).
@PROT@ ....... Default transfer protocol (12 characters).
@PACKER@ ..... Default packer to use for compression (fixed
lenght of 30 characters).
@MAXCONF@ .... Maximum messages per conference (5 characters)
| @MAXATT@ ..... Maximum attached files size to include (fixed
| length of 5 characters).
@MAXDOWN@ .... Maximum messages per download (5 characters)
@OWNMAIL@ .... Send Own Mail (YES/NO)
@NEWFILE@ .... Include New files (YES/NO)
@NEWBULL@ .... Include new Bulletins (YES/NO)
| @HANGUP@ ..... Hangup after .REP upload (YES/NO)
| @ATTACH@ ..... Include all attachments (YES/NO)
| @EXPORT@ ..... Allow private message export (YES/NO)
@FORMAT@ ..... Packet type (QWK/TXT)
As mentioned, all variables have fixed lengths, so there is no
problems of shifting lines if you use boxes in your display-file.
Besides these variables all of WILDCAT!'s own color codes can be
used to create a custom designed opening screen for your Mail door.
